Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, Construction

Nr Gloucester 

MDE is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of an award winning consultancy based Nr Gloucester. The Quantity Surveyor will manage projects of varying sizes, from £500k to over £5m, at different stages of development—from inception to completion. The role encompasses traditional Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) duties, Contract Administration, and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet budget and schedule constraints.
Pre & Post Contract Duties: Handle all aspects of pre-contract and post-contract duties, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements.
Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Project Management: Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and completion.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates and financial reports.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

PQS Experience: Proven experience in Professional Quantity Surveying, with a strong track record of managing various projects.
Pre & Post Contract Duties: Comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling pre and post-contractual duties.
JCT Contracts: Proficient understanding and application of JCT contracts.
Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
Education: Relevant Quantity Surveying degree from a recognized institution
