Within Daniel Owen we are recruiting on behalf of a specialist facilities company who are on a mission to recruit a Facilities Estimator with expertise in HVAC and M&E.

This role is Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify labour, material, and time requirements by reviewing proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

· Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

· Meeting Clients on site to review works requirements

· Develop and maintain an estimate tracker.

· You will prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, schedule of rates and labour.

· Liaise with clients, consultants and other personnel and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

· Meet the client as necessary to discuss their requirements and advise accordingly.

· You will send out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors.

· Carry out an analysis of received quotations to ensure the equipment / specialist is compliant with the tender information.

· Complete a tender analysis including preliminary costs on necessary projects.

· Assisting the help desk with finalising smaller works quotations.

· Project Values will be between £2K - £1M

· Attending site where necessary to cost works

· This role will be 70% office based,

Experience & Qualifications:

· Proven experience as an estimator or similar position.

· Familiarity with financial and project management principles.

· In depth knowledge of HVAC and M&E systems.

· Experience in all Microsoft applications to intermediate level

· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

· Excellent attention to detail
