Team Educate are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in an ASD resource base in the Thornbury area.

Team Educate are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time in a SEND resource base attached to a mainstream school. The post will be working with children with varying degrees of ASD who require a bespoke educational timetable. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient and caring – although SEND experience isn’t essential it is advantageous.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will benefit from:

* Opportunity in a longer term position working with a fantastic group of children

* A competitive day rate of £80 – £100 per day

* Working closely with a supportive community professionals

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will require:

* A patient and resilient attitude to working with children

* A passion for working with SEND

* A valid DBS certificate (or willing to put a new one in process)

* A right to work in the the UK
