As Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager you will be out and about on the road a lot with some stays away from home. You would also be expected to go into the office regularly. Your day to day role will include:

* Building relationships with new and existing clients

* Cold calling / company introductions

* Client visits to both existing clients and prospects

* Price negotiation

* Increasing product and brand visibility

* Keeping internal systems up to date

* Other duties as required

To be suitable for this position of Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager you should have held a Technical Sales role previously, ideally selling hydraulic filters (other backgrounds will be considered). It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are able to travel (including overnight stays). You should also hold a full UK driving license.

In return for your hard work as Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will be rewarded with a generous salary and company bonus scheme as well as a company car, laptop, mobile, credit card, pension scheme and private healthcare
