We are seeking an experienced Planner with a strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation to join our dynamic team in Kirriemuir. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical and instrumentation projects.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines.
* Utilize NEC contracts to manage project activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and identifying potential risks.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Prepare regular progress reports and updates for senior management and clients.
* Conduct resource planning and allocation to optimize project efficiency.
* Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
* Provide input for project budgeting and cost control.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Planner, specifically within the Electrical & Instrumentation sectors.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC contracts.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple tasks.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in project management or electrical engineering are highly desirable
