Our client, operating in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join their Manchester office on a permanent basis. This role is integral to the planning and design of vital infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of highway infrastructure projects
Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met
Conducting site inspections and assessments as part of project development
Preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional development
Implementing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges

Job Requirements:

Experience in highway engineering and infrastructure projects
Significant experience in managing and leading project teams
Strong understanding of highway design standards and practices
Knowledge of the HTP sector and related disciplines
Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
