My client are a precision manufacturing business, based in Birmingham, specialising in machining and assembly of high value low volume components. The Costing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Internal Sales Team with a set of key customers, managing internal and external contacts to provide quotations, load and progress orders and ensure that customers are always fully updated.

Reporting to the Internal Sales Supervisor, the Costing Coordinator will take responsibility for ensuring that all quotations are accurately costed, with GM% in line with business strategy and delivered to the Account Managers within an agreed timeline.

Process RFQs

Prioritise loading of RFQs onto EFACS and Salesforce

Provide accurate costings for customer RFQs

Liaise with all business functions to secure accurate data

Raise Price Reqs and support tickets as and when required

Apply smart pricing to all quotations

Maintain agreed GM% in line with business strategy

Process Customer Order

Prioritise loading of customer orders onto EFACs and Salesforce

Process order acknowledgements for the Sales team

Manage customer expectations through all applicable stages of the sales cycle

Maintain accurate records of all quotations and orders

Maintain good customer relationship

Maintain accurate records of all customer communications

Support the sales inbox and telephone queries

Resolve customer queries in a timely manner

Communicate customer feedback to Account Managers

Manage Tasks and Priorities

Assist the Internal Sales Manager in terms or reporting, data analysis and day to day management to ensure that KPIs are achieved

Support the day-to-day management of Q2O in order to achieve set KPIs

Management of applicable departmental SOPs

Participate in cross-functional teams to aid with problem solving and internal development.

Actively participate in companywide projects as required

Role Overview
