Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Moira. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with autism and helping them thrive in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Work closely with teachers to adapt classroom materials and activities to meet the needs of students with autism.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and report on students' progress and behavior.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the well-being and academic progress of students.Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with children with autism, preferably in an educational setting.
Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and associated strategies for support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
