Facilities Helpdesk Assistant – 12 months Temp – Site Based Kings Cross - £13.15 per hour
One of the worlds largest library’s is seeking a Facilities Helpdesk Assistant to support them on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is an ongoing temporary role to start ASAP (dependant on checks) and will pay £13.15 per hour.
Working hours 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The main purpose of the Facilities Helpdesk Assistant will be to deal with internal customer and tenant enquiries and to provide day-to-day assistance to those requiring estates and facilities services including, reporting of faults, requests for change, porterage services and meeting room bookings and refreshments.
The ideal Facilities Helpdesk Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous experience of working in a similar Facilities Helpdesk role.
Ability to deal with people in person, on the phone and in writing in a professional manner
Ability to empathise with customers and provide re-assurance through various channels of contact commitment to excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction
Excellent IT skills including highly competent use of relevant application software - administration of database programmes or CAFM systems; MS Outlook/Calendar, Excel; competent in MS Word, PowerPoint;
Excellent communication – verbal, and interpersonal skills necessary to develop and sustain effective relationships with internal customers
Organisational ability including being able to handle more than one task simultaneously
Ability to perform administrative duties accurately, expeditiously and deal with associated enquiries.
Ability to work on own initiative and take independent decisions coupled with the ability to judge when senior colleagues need to be involved in the decision process.
