We have a great opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to work in Sutton amongst a very lovely team. We require someone who will be able to work with KS2 and provide a positive impact on the growth and development of these pupils. You will gain a lot of experience and rewarding skills, with the chance for this full-time role going permanent for the right individual. The school is in search for someone who will fit in well and will be able to support pupils with SEN.

Responsibilities:

Prepare learning materials and adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
Create an engaging environment for all the children, fulfilling each individual need.
Encourage participation of pupils and enable them to become more independent learners.
Supervise pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety.
Work with individual pupils who have SEND and assist in the delivery of the curriculum across KS2.
Offer comfort and support to children who are distressed or unsettled.
Adapt your support so it is appropriate to every child's level of understanding.
Carry out any administrative tasks.Requirements:

A relevant qualification/degree.
Have a genuine passion for working with children.
Experience of working with SEN children within a school setting.
Have a valid DBS or willing to apply for a new one.
