As the UK Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our tax functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the UK corporation tax function, collaborating with external consultants.
Building and maintaining relationships with UK and Group tax advisory teams.
Ensuring Transfer Pricing Compliance.
Managing the relationship with HMRC, handling inquiries, coordinating processes, and providing regular internal updates.
Leading UK tax accounting and reporting requirements.
Conducting tax planning assessments and reporting.
Leading the annual assessment for R&D tax credits.
Reviewing and improving VAT return processes.
Addressing and mitigating tax evasion risks across the organization.
Preparing and reviewing monthly/quarterly CT submissions and documentation.
Providing technical tax and project management support on local and global projects, including changes in group structure, property, and M&A transactions.
Assisting the finance and trade teams with indirect tax queries.Requirements:
Accounting or tax qualification (ACCA/ACA/ICAS/CTA).
Experience working in-house within a B2B or manufacturing environment, or within a substantial UK Tax practice.
