Responsibilities:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Stevenston, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join their finance team. With excellent organisational skills and a drive to get things done, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing all-round finance-related administration support.

Responsibilities include:

Liaising with suppliers via phone and email
Processing invoices and updating databases
Booking in purchase orders and following up on lead times
Answering calls and enquiries
Maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory using company systems and software.
Assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years administration experience, ideally in a finance or purchasing role. The ability to multitask and handle varying duties with confidence is essential. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and knowledge of finance-related software is a plus.

This is a temporary position that could potentially lead to a permanent role. As such, our client is looking for someone who is available to take on the permanent position if offered. The working hours are from 8:45 am to 4:45 pm with a one-hour lunch break. The dress code is smart casual, allowing for a comfortable yet professional work environment.

Our client offers a competitive hourly rate between £13 and £14 an hour (dependant on experience) Additionally, you will have access to on-site parking, making your daily commute hassle-free.
