Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting opportunity for Registered Manager for Children's Residential Care services around Nottingham.

The Registered Manager is to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the residential care services accommodating EBD services users (children 8-15 years) and x1 semi-independent living (16-17 years).

The ideal person for this Registered Manager position would be passionate about working with children and young people creating a safe, comfortable and caring home environment.

The Registered Manager would be accountable for delivering high quality care within the homes, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.
Responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the homes and all day to day management matters.
Lead a team along with other professionals providing care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.Requirements:

Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
Knowledge of Ofsted Inspection framework and , Quality Standards,
Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as the Children Act 1989, the Children's home regulations (2015) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Knowledge of management of budgets and staff rotas
Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic leader.
A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
Full driving licence is essential.
