A dynamic and super organised Studio Manager is required to join an established Architectural Design practice located in the delightful village of Hathersage in the Hope Valley.

Working for an established medium sized Architectural Practice who specialise in delivering projects across the UK from design to completion, you will enjoy the benefits of a culturally progressive business and one which prides itself on a modern approach to flexible working and a healthy work life balance, typically it is expected for their employees to be in the office 50% of the working week and the remainder WFH. This opportunity is available on a full time, part time or tailored hours basis.

Working alongside the managing director, the Studio Manager will be an integral part of the management team and have full autonomy for running the day-day operational side of business support. Our client are keen to secure an individual who is dynamic, super organised and has a tenacious approach to getting the job done with minimal fuss or supervision.

Studio Manager responsibilities

Ensuring the office is well stocked and organised with essentials.
Setting up CDM documents and tracking and recording information.
Completing office management checks each month
Ensuring company policies, risk assessments and method statements are accurate and up to date. Helping set up new company documents where appropriate.
Assisting with running QMS ISO9001 system including monthly auditing, setting up meetings.
Setting up internal meetings, including monthly Management meeting.
Contributing to and taking minutes for Management meetings. Circulating these minutes and relevant action points afterwards.
Helping with preparation for accreditations and audits.
Assisting with writing and collecting relevant information for bids and Design and Access Statements.
Be a proud ambassador for the business, promoting the business and it's values.
Filing physical and online documents, including post.
Ensuring the Company Portal and the company website is up to date.
Answering the phone in the office and taking and relaying messages where appropriate.
Completing induction with new starters, arranging initial internal training, setting up their IT.
Helping create documents and resources for internal use, such as the Employee Handbook.
Arranging monthly CPDs for the office.
Updating and scheduling posts on social mediaCommunication is key in this role, an individual who can clearly articulate company values, objectives and strategy both internally and externally to clients and partnering organisations.

The Studio Manager will be engaged in business related decisions and play a key role producing the strategy and best practice procedures of the business.

Salary depending on suitability and experience £30,000 per annum plus benefits, part time and flexible working hours considered.
