We are currently looking to hire Learning Support Assistants who are confident and resilient to work in an SEN school in Chatham. This school needs Learning Support Assistants or Teaching Assistants to start and stay with them on a Long Term basis.

You will need to demonstrate that you are comfortable and confident in dealing with physical needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the development of lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and assist with behaviour management strategies.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of children’s progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role in an educational setting.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or child development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
