Mental Health Practitioner

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with the Alfred Barrow health centre based in Barrow-in-Furness who are looking for a Band 6 RMN to join them on a contract basis.

This is a 3–6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.

Duties | Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care programs for children and families.

* Undertake risk assessment and for individual children, young people and their families/carers.

* Responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers.

* Treatment of young people who present with mental health problems and especially those that are at risk of attempted deliberate self-harm.

* Clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording.

This is a full-time position, hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for 37.5hrs a week.

Pay rate: £24.00 - £25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
