As a Veterinary Nurse at this clinic, you will play a key role in providing personalized care and ensuring the health and happiness of beloved pets.
Responsibilities:
As an essential part of the veterinary team, your duties will include:
Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
Monitoring and caring for small animal patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Conducting health checks and maintaining detailed medical records.
Offering compassionate support to pet owners, addressing their concerns, and providing post-operative care advice.
Assisting with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and sample collection.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and keeping the clinic clean and organized.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants should have the following qualifications:
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification with active RCVS registration.
Previous experience in a small animal clinic or similar setting.
Proficiency in nursing skills, including catheter placement, bandaging, and administering medications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to providing outstanding care to furry patients and their owners.
