I am currently recruiting for an award winning small friendly family owned business for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate needs to be a well organised Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage all aspects of its invoicing and credit control, payment of purchases and preparation of accounts.

This is a great role for someone looking for to work in a friendly enjoyable working enviroment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

* Sales Ledger

* Purchase Ledger

* Self-billing

* Statement reconciliations

* Credit control

* Bank reconciliations

* Preparation of VAT returns

* Reporting to the Group Financial Controller / Interacting with our external accountant

About you:

* Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Bookkeeping experience is essential

* AAT Qualified

* Able to deal with confidential information and report preparation

* Experience in preparation of monthly manegement accounts

* Computer literate including very proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel

* Reliable, Motivated hardworking and flexible

* Self-organised with plenty of initiative

* Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different duties, including an ability to prioritise tasks

* Attention to detail
