HV AP Shift Leader

HV AP Shift Leader -  Liverpool Street - £50,000

Our client is looking for an HV AP Electrical Shift Leader to join their Investment Banking Contract overseeing electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance as well as other general building services. You will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works to Electrical, HVAC plant and associated equipment. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified and have experience of carrying out LV Appointed Person duties (Whilst willing to undertake HV training) Working as part of a shift team the candidate will be required to liaise with clients, other service partners and contract support functions throughout the business via telephone and email, therefore excellent communication and computer operation skills are a requirement for this position.

Duties:

Responding to any reactive and the planned maintenance to plant throughout the site.
Monitoring the BMS and provide appropriate responses upon alarm activations.
Operate all M&E systems within the Banking Environment in a competent, effective and efficient manner (including HV Electrical isolations/operations). 
Strong understanding of LV and HV electrical systems, data hall cooling/humidity, BMS systems monitoring, UPS, generator systems, electrical installation, and safe systems of work.
Ensure strong communication to the client and management team.
Manage workload and distribute accordingly
Be responsible for RAM’s, Toolbox Talks and make sure targets are met.
Lead and help develop staff under your control and make sure sub-contractors are compliant.
Carry out works in accordance to health and safety procedures
Establish good working relationships with the client Facilities Management Team, to ensure proactive, open, and co-operative partnership
Monitor component, system and building performance against target profiles via Building Management System and alert platform
Contribute information as required for regular and exception reports
Propose variations or modifications to modes of operation and or the times of operation of systems to minimise energy consumption 
Requirements:

C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds. 17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training)
Any Healthcare experiences
HV IS ESSENTIAL
Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of engineers.
Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training
