Job Title: CNC Machinist – Milling & Turning

Salary: £18 - £20 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in either milling, turning, or both. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of CNC machining processes, particularly with Heidenhain or Mazak control systems. This role involves working directly from customer drawings to produce high-precision components for various industries, including Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, and Motorsports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and set up CNC milling machines (Heidenhain) or CNC turning machines (Mazak/FANUC).

* Produce high-precision parts according to customer specifications.

* Conduct in-process inspections to ensure components meet exacting quality standards.

* Work with a variety of materials, maintaining close tolerances.

* Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in either milling or turning (or both).

* Familiarity with Heidenhain, Mazak, or FANUC control systems.

* Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Experience in high-precision machining, preferably within Aerospace, Oil and Gas, or Motorsports sectors.

* A time-served apprenticeship in engineering is an advantage
