Our client Adient based in Burton Upon Trent who manufacture automotive seating are now looking to recruit a quality inspector, due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate must have a good eye for detail, a flexible approach to work and be able to work under minimum supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding company on a temporary ongoing basis.

Pay Rates:

£14.00 per hour

Hours:

10:00-18:30 Monday - Friday

39 hours per week

Daily Tasks:

* Overseeing and running a small team of quality inspectors

* Reading blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies

* Designing, reviewing and updating quality control policies and procedures

* Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production

* Documenting any quality issues and creating a system for recording such documentation

* Creating procedure checklists and coordinating with other Inspectors

* Dealing with customer feedback and complaints

* Testing product materials from suppliers

* Editing daily reports

* Participating in customer meetings

* Training of operators about sewing defects & control instructions

* Daily Comex with customer to decide on rejected parts

* Follow safe working practices, safety instructions and safety procedures

* Working cooperatively in a team

Key Skills needed:

* Previous quality inspection experience

* Previous experience managing a small team

* Previous experience in trim covers ( knowledge of sewing basics , sewing defects …)

* Computer skills : good in using Microsoft office ( excel , work , power point ) , redaction of emails

* Good English language

* Good level in communication & negotiation with customer

* Good level in team management

* A flexible approach to work / overtime
