We are seeking a Surveyor to join a leading Housing Developer and manage for 2/3 designated developments.

Join this niche developer who have view of creating beautiful properties in the South East of England. They have been in the industry for over 40 years and work with a focus on contemporary and architectural design.

Job Details

* You will be office based with site visits in Sussex, Surrey where necessary

* Required to taking the principal role commercially in respect of procurement, subcontract payments and cost control

* Form initial budget and specification approval to the end of DLP period

* Support the company as required regarding financial status and profitability on allocated developments

* You will be required to act as Surveyor for 2 to 3 developments at a time (these will be at various stages)

* Working in a small office of around 20 people in Horsham

* Monitor site performance against original plans, budgets and financial targets

* Communicate regularly with other disciplines; sales, land, construction and architects, as necessary

* Prepare and liaise with the Monitoring QS to agree the monthly bank drawdown figures on a monthly basis

* Be the point of contact for our Housing Association contract for your developments including all administration and valuations

Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications

* Experience using Eque 2 or similar land appraisal & procurement software

* Experience working in a similar role with a house builder is essential

* Groundworks experience beneficial

* Strong attention to detail
