Our client, an MSP based in the centre of Cheltenham, are looking to expand their team and need an experienced IT guru to join their team. This is a really exciting time to join them during a period of growth and expansion.

As an IT Project Manager, you will manage and oversee IT infrastructure project delivery, working closely with technical teams and other project managers to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.

This IT Project Manager role will involve:

Implementing technical specifications; gathering client requirements for IT infrastructure projects through designing, configuring and implementing network, server, storage, and security solutions
Creating quotes for clients, liaising with account managers to facilitate project sign off
Configuring IT infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and storage devices to meet project requirements and industry standards
Working with clients and internal teams to develop improvement plans and roadmaps for IT infrastructure based on their business objectives
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely delivery of IT projects
Providing technical expertise, resource planning, and status updates to project managers and clients
When required, providing 3rd Line technical support to clients both remotely and onsite
The ideal IT Project Manager will be able to display:

Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure components such as networking, servers, storage, virtualization and security firewalls.
Demonstrable experience in managing IT infrastructure projects
The ability to assess and analyse existing IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and plans to enhance performance, security and reliability
Certifications such as MCSE, CCNP or VCP or equivalent are desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills via phone and email
This is a full time role over 37.5 hours per week, and offers a salary of £40-50,000pa, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, free on site parking and a company pool car.
