Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to join our client and support the Goodrich Actuation Systems business? We are looking for a motivated and skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Banbury. This is a temporary position with a contract length of 6 months and a possible further 6 months, offering an attractive hourly rate ranging from £40 to £50 depending on experience.

Role: Design/Project Engineer

Pay: £40-50/hr depending on experience

Location: Banbury

As a Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth transition as our client separates from their current organisation. Working closely with the TMO office, you will be responsible for transferring relevant data, designs, and IP materials, ensuring that the department is fully prepared to stand alone. You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager and take charge of planning, executing, reporting, and resolving technical and schedule problems. Your ability to deliver work packages within budget while exceeding customer expectations will be crucial in progressing the transition activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Separation: Conduct a comprehensive review of the site's core data assets, including current data requirements, required applications and their ownership, and necessary data/documentation to be removed or brought on-site.

- Asset Management: Evaluate site assets and report on findings, determining what will be included in the divestiture.

- 3rd Party Management: Review and assess 3rd party agreements and suppliers to identify any contracts that may require novating.

- Build Back: Create and review current engineering best practises, policies, procedures, and standard work, ensuring seamless transfer and addressing any potential losses.
