General Labourer
EDS is looking to recruit good all-round General Labour for Birmingham-based engineering & Installation Company
EDS has been trading for over 25 years and is approved with NICEIC (Electrical), ISO 9000 (Quality) and has good financial standing. Our clients include Government, MOD, Educational Organisations, Corporate and Blue Chip Clients, products are supplied and installed within the UK with some overseas exports.
Due to the evolving nature of the business, we are rapidly expanding and looking to recruit Labourers, with good experience and the ability to turn their hands to most things, so practical experience is key, and the ability to pick up new ideas and technologies.
This is a full-time position, which will require high-quality work, attention to detail, working to deadlines and willingness to take on new skills. We require a good quality candidate and someone willing to put the effort into the business to reap the long-term rewards, with the option for promotion to progress through the company for the right person. You will need to have a smart appearance and a friendly personality.
You will be working in the workshop carrying out various duties and site work which will involve general groundwork and concreting, you will require a full UK Driving Licence with a varied amount of travelling to sites, deliveries and collection, occasionally working away from home, with overnight stays and a valid CSCS card would very advantageous.
Wages are negotiable subject to previous experience, between £11.50 - £12.50 Per Hour depending on experience, with some in-house on-the-job training given
