Your Role as Assistant Estimator:

Support Estimation Team: Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates.
Analyse Documentation: Review blueprints, specifications, and other documents.
Collaborate: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders.
Client Engagement: Liaise with clients at the early engagement stage, advising on compliance and project requirements. 
Key Responsibilities:

Develop good working relationships with the Estimating Team.
Prepare budget costs for construction projects.
Act as the first point of contact for the estimating team.
Assist with tender submissions and resolve cost differences.
Coordinate meetings with clients, the delivery team, and other stakeholders.
Monitor construction processes and research prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure project costs stay within forecasts and escalate issues to the Estimating Manager. 
Who You Are:

Minimum of 6 months' experience in estimating or construction projects, ideally within passive fireproofing.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently.
