We are working with a leading refurbishment contractor to recruit a Pre-Construction Manager where you will be part of a team helping to deliver over £100m worth of planned maintenance works per annum. Reporting into the Construction director, you will be responsible for providing leadership on tenders and all mobilisations in accordance with agreed bid strategy and within the companies process. My client will also consider candidates outside of Social Housing.

Pre-Construction Manager Key responsibilities:

Production, ownership and implementation of individual project bid strategies and customer plans
Responsibility for producing and managing project bid budgets, balancing tender requirements with team efficiency
Ensure that all members of the project bid team have a clear understanding of their role and required outputs
Responsibility for engaging with functional leads and Senior Leadership Team to agree bid teams; monitoring and adapting to suit specific tender requirements throughout the bid period
Ensure all bids are carried out and settledPre-Construction Manager Essential experience:

HNC/HND/Degree in a construction or engineering discipline
Membership of a relevant body (CIOB, APM, CIAT, RICS)
Previous Pre-Construction experience with a Main Contractor across a variety of project types, sizes and routes
Experience leading teams
Client facing dealing with multiple stakeholders
