Our client is an established provider of grounds maintenance and landscape solutions for a variety of clients within the UK, this company prides themselves on their philosophy, vision and commitment to customer care and service.
This exciting role as a Project Assistant will be based on the outskirts of Stratford Upon Avon, which offers ample parking facilities and a friendly, team-work oriented working environment. Every member of the team is truly valued, and you will be able to put your own stamp on this role.
The Project Assistant will involve managing client requests for show home maintenance and extra works, coordinating operations, providing quotations, and ensuring timely invoicing and compliance with company standards, with an emphasis on organizational skills and communication.
The Project Assistant has a range of roles and responsibilities that include:
Client Requests (show home extra works): Receive, manage, and incorporate client and field team requests into work schedules.
Quoting and Invoicing: Create and send quotes, manage invoicing, and ensure timely completion.
Client Interaction: Maintain communication with clients, field teams, and suppliers.
Gardening and Bedding Management: Oversee winter/summer bedding processes, including ordering and installation.
Operational Support: Identify and manage plot maintenance requirements; order necessary materials.
Documentation and Compliance: Handle invoices, maintain client databases, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Team Support: Assist with inbound calls and weekend gritting management in winter months.
The ideal Project Assistant:
Plant / Landscaping knowledge: Some knowledge of plants / landscaping is beneficial for when you are attending sites, to enable you to answer any field-based queries and understand landscaping plans with coding
Gardening Interest: An interest in gardening is beneficial, especially for managing bedding and plant-related tasks.
Experience and Education: Qualified by experience or higher education.
Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate various aspects of the job efficiently.
Communication: Strong written and spoken communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and suppliers.
Client Service: Focus on providing excellent service to clients and maintaining high client satisfaction.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues as needed.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in quotations, invoicing, documentation, and compliance with company standards.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
