Quality Control Inspector

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our clients manufacturing site based within the Tredegar area.

Overview of the role:

Perform dimensional and visual inspections during the production process and on final inspection Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards & specifications.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday 06:00am – 14:00pm days regular.

Duties of the role will include:

* Processing inspection and non-conformance reports.

* Ensuring raw/finished material complies to purchase order requirement.

* Working alongside the stores / goods out departments inspecting finished / completed product being distributed to customers

* Rework of finished product so would need to be competent working with hand-held tooling / equipment

* Using standard measuring equipment including Vernier’s & callipers

* Review of technical drawings ensuring that components conform to the required specifications and dimensions

* Ensuring shipping inspection reports/certification is correctly processed.

* Attention to detail is paramount ensuring all quality practices and paperwork and completed

* Ensuring relevant factory acceptance/integrations tests and flushing operations are documented.

Desired attributes:

* Previous experience in quality inspection in the manufacturing Industry

* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision

* Hands on approach toward work being competent with the use of hand-held tooling

* IT Literate and able to complete quality audit / paperwork
