Dunbar Education is delighted to be working with an outstanding SEN school in Kettering, dedicated to supporting students aged 11-18 with cognition and learning difficulties. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality occupational and physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist our specialist Occupational Therapist in delivering exceptional occupational and physiotherapy services to students.
Contribute to the assessment and treatment of students, both individually and in groups.
Undertake therapeutic work and supervise students in activities related to their treatment.
Perform general therapy-related duties, including cleaning equipment, collating statistical information, and ordering supplies.
Undertake clerical and school-based tasks to ensure the smooth running of the therapy department.
Support school staff with the healthcare needs of students.
Participate in and contribute to assessment and treatment planning sessions.Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role or setting is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
