We are working with an education provider in Hull who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Instructor to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The job role would consist of you delivering hands-on training to Mechanical Engineering learners (up to level 3) at the education provider's training centre in Hull. The training delivery will be focused around Mechanical Maintenance skills. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.
The starting salary for this position is between £37,000 and £38,500 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a company pension (employer contribution of 7%), discretionary annual bonus (5% of salary), private health insurance, and 42 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) which can be requested at any time of the year.
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-Experience of Mechanical Maintenance
-A full UK driving licence
Please note that you do not need a teaching qualification in order to apply for the role, as they would be able to put you through one (and pay for it) which you would complete alongside doing the role. Hence, this could be a great role for someone looking to make the leap from industry to the engineering education sector.
