Job Role:

Provide 1-1 support to children who have SEN in a Primary School setting.
Assist the Class Teacher with the planning and delivery of the National Curriculum.
Work closely with children with varying needs including ASD, ADHD, and Speech and Language Disorders.
Help manage challenging behaviour in line with the school's policies.
Support students in Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and Early Years (EYFS).
Promote social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) development.
Required Skills and Experience:

To hold a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
Previous UK school experience is essential.
Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and its application in KS1, KS2, and EYFS.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting both the Class Teacher and the students.

£85.02 to £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.

Free KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM, and abuse.

Location

This position is in West Bromwich, which is easily commutable from Wednesbury, Tipton, Oldbury, Smethwick, Handsworth, and Dudley. The school offers excellent transport links and onsite parking.
