We are delighted to working with our client, who are well established in the Distribution industry. They are looking for a Logistics Expeditor to oversee dispatch to delivery operations, manage exceptions, and cultivate relationships with carriers and internal stakeholders. You will also develop SLAs, handle communication during exceptions, prepare shipping documents, and support the Logistics Team.

You will need to show a high level of competency and organisational skills working within a team environment providing a total quality service internally and to external customers. Ensuring that a professional representation of the company, its services and values with a positive can-do attitude are exhibited at all times.
Reporting into the Logistics Manager, your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Meeting Key Performance Indicators and regular individual reviews with line manager.
Facilitate and oversee the entire process from dispatch to customer delivery, including tracking and managing exceptions.
Cultivate strong partnerships with carriers.
Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal teams.
Handle communication during exceptional situations, meticulously documenting and following up on cases to address any issues.
Compile shipping documentation.
Perform basic customs document management tasks.
Offer assistance to the Logistics Team.
To be suitable for this busy and challenging role you will have the following key skills and experience:

Experience in working in a logistics environment ideally distribution/manufacturing related industries.
Proven capability in using data to analyse and synthesise.
Excellent data analysis, problem solving.
Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
Able to cope with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
Understanding of international logistics.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage supplier and provide excellent.
You will receive a competitive salary of approx. £25-35k pa (DOE) + excellent benefits package and the working hours are Mon - Friday 9.30-5pm
