Space Planner

Build Recruitment are working with a London based Public Sector client to appoint a Junior Space Planner. £34k - £37k + excellent benefits.

Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Space Planner will work collaboratively with the Space, Estates and Projects teams, positively contributing to all areas of operations.

It is expected that the Space Planner will be a proficient user of AutoCAD and is able to undertake space surveys as well as being able to accurately draw surveyed spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

The Space Planner will be responsible for conducting CAD drawing tasks aligned with defined department and space policies, procedures and instructions to ensure the delivery of a first-class service to all stakeholders.
The Space Planner will also work closely with the Estates and Project teams, coordinating decants and recants of departments, allowing works to be completed with minimum disruption to business as usual.
The Space Planner will be responsible for organising, inputting and monitoring CAFM and other databases and record sets ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data recording in line with established processes.
Key Experience:

Detailed AutoCAD drawing skills are essential.
Experience of AutoCAD software is essential.
Experience of space surveying is essential.
Experience of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) is highly desirable.
A qualification/certificate in AutoCAD is highly desirable.
