Physical Education Teacher – Holmer Green

Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate PE Teacher for a new position in Holmer Green. We are looking for an individual who can create a safe and encouraging environment where all children have the opportunity to learn and grow.

Role: PE Teacher

Location: Holmer Green

Start: September 2024

About the role:

Develop and implement comprehensive physical education lesson plans that promote physical activity, skill development, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Instruct students in a variety of sports, games, and activities, adapting lessons to accommodate different skill levels and interests.
Assess and monitor students' progress in physical skills and fitness levels.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
Demonstrate and promote proper techniques and safety practices during physical activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and school initiatives.
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports and fitness programs, such as intramural sports and fitness clubs.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and participation in physical education.
The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
Strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum
Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Be a committed team player
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Able to commute to Holmer Green and the surrounding areas
