Position: Experienced Transport Planner (Haulage)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
On-call: Required every 4th week.
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for a new opportunity in the haulage industry? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Transport Planner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
- Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time
- Assist in the optimization of routes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
- Handle administrative tasks related to transportation planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Transport Planner in the haulage industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
