Role and Responsibilities:

* To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role

* Provide person centered care

* Provide support in daily living activities

* Manage and administer medication

* Understand, adhere to, and follow care standards. Policies and procedures

* Keep all records up to date with accurate information

* Provide support with personal care (Undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care)

* Provide support with Nutrition and Hydration – Meal Preparation

* Engage with the service user

* Light Domestic Duties/Shopping

* Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to

* Using Moving and Handling equipment

* Communicate with other colleagues and senior level staff

* Maintain Confidentiality

Ideal Candidate:

* Must be hard working, reliable and honest

* Experience preferred but not essential as full training can be provided

* Must hold a valid DBS / this can also be obtained if you do not have one

* Driver preferred but not essential

* Be friendly and able to engage with others

* Must have empathy towards others
