Canterbury

Salary: up to £84,000 per annum (DoE)

3,4 or 5 days a week (no weekends)

A leading provider of optical care is recruiting for an experienced Optometrist in or around Canterbury to join them in delivering clinically excellent eye care to those who need it most.

This is a domiciliary role which will involve patient visits, meeting the demand for a trusted at-home service.

About You:

* Passionate, empathetic, and experienced

* Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist

* Committed to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning

* Dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Making around 6-7 patient visits daily, or 14-16 patients in care homes, with longer appointments than the high street to build strong patient relationships

* Making autonomous clinical decisions, with immediate support from the senior optometrist team.

* Using state-of-the-art equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system to provide a faultless service

* Strong performance-based bonuses. 5% commission on daily sales of £1000 (paid monthly) – average daily sales are around £1700, so very achievable commission scheme
