Grinding Operative

Job Title: General Operative (Must have metal grinding experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30-15:30 Friday 06:00-12:00

Pay: £12.50ph (Overtime £16.25ph)

As a General Operative, the successful candidate will be instrumental in the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of grinding machines. This role requires a meticulous approach to work, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and optimizing productivity.

Responsibilities include:
- Operating grinding machinery with precision
- Adhering to strict health and safety protocols
- Collaborating with the production team to meet targets
- Identifying and reporting any machine faults or irregularities
- Assisting with inventory management and material handling as needed

Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with grinding machines or similar equipment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- A proactive approach to health and safety
