Reports to: Senior Partner / Head of Conveyancing

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Solicitor to join our client’s dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will manage residential and commercial property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring all conveyancing processes are efficiently handled.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing from inception to completion.
Draft and review legal documents including contracts, leases, and title deeds.
Conduct property searches and perform due diligence on real estate transactions.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
Provide clear, practical, and strategic advice to clients.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and guidelines.
Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of transactions.
Keep abreast of changes in land and property law.

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified solicitor in Scotland with an excellent academic record.
Minimum 2 years of experience in conveyancing.
Strong knowledge of Scottish conveyancing law and practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
