Hygiene Operative, Edinburgh, Salary from £23,560 to £25,560 per annum + Overtime at x1.5
Hygiene Operative required to work on a static site with a client who has over 300 employees across the UK. Hygiene Operative required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hygiene Operative will receive:

Hygiene Operative Responsibilities:
Ensure the environment is safe and clean to prevent a negative impact on quality standards.
Implement all Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation and aligned to best practice.
Clean all pre-established floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis or as required. This will, at times, require working in confined spaces and working at height.
Clean all spillages in the mill and yard as and when required.
Proactively respond to any incidents or environmental concerns which could negatively impact health and safety and quality standards.
Completion of daily paperwork, proactively seeking solutions where abnormalities occur to prevent a negative impact on production and quality standards.
Liaise with other operational areas to ensure the efficient flow of information so all internal and external customer requirements are met.
Drive continuous improvement, proactively reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve the sites efficiency, safety, quality and performance.
Undertake any reasonable task as required and as directed by the mill management team.
Essential Skills and Experience Required
Strong experience within a similar role.
Experience of working with strict procedures and compliance requirements.
Forklift certification advantageous.
Working in confined spaces certification advantageous. Full training will be provided.
