CNC Turner

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision engineering client, located in Liverpool. Our client are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Since 1982, our client have been a leading supplier of reinforced branch fittings for piping and pressure vessel applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Programming, setting, and operating a range of Mazak and Mori Seiki CNC lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.

* Producing small batch and one-off components

* Reading and understanding engineering drawings

* Completing information sheets.

Working Hours: Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)

WEEK 1: Monday to Friday (6AM until 2PM)
WEEK 2: Monday to Thursday (2PM until 11PM) and Friday (2PM until 6PM)

Requirements:

* Previous CNC turning experience is required.

* Previous experience working on Mazak, Mori Seiki, or similar machinery is desirable.

* Previous experience programming using Mazatrol, Fanuc, or similar controls is desirable.
