Position Overview:

As the Head of Drama partnered working within this school, you will lead the drama department with passion and vision. You will collaborate with a dedicated team and the school staff to deliver engaging drama programs, inspire creativity, and cultivate a love for the performing arts among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a dynamic and inclusive drama curriculum that aligns with national standards and educational objectives.

*
Lead and support drama teachers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

*
Coordinate theatrical productions, workshops, and extracurricular activities, fostering collaboration and showcasing students' talents.

*
Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity, express themselves, and develop essential skills.

*
Collaborate with school leadership and the Trust's staff to enhance drama education and promote the arts within the school community.

Qualifications:

*
Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

*
Previous experience in teaching drama, with a proven track record of success in curriculum development, student engagement, and theatrical production.

*
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues, students, and parents.

*
Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in drama education and the school community.
