Our client, based in South Norfolk are seeking a Finance Manager. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function and contributing to the ambitious growth plans of the business.
You will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous. You will have a keen eye for detail and strong problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing monthly, half yearly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including materials, labour, and overhead.
Support inventory valuation and management, ensuring accurate reporting of Levels and cost.
Assist in costing and variance analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
Assist in managing cash flow and working capital.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve payment and billing issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.
Assist in the implementation of financial systems and software upgrades.
Support the development and maintenance of internal control procedures.
