Primary HLTA - Key Stage 2 - Year 3 to Year 6

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire - NN11

Start Date: September 2024, Full Time Preferred

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Key Stage 2 HLTA to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

The school are an Ofsted graded 'Good' school, which is a dedicated & very supportive primary school in Northamptonshire which is a 2 form entry Primary school. They have a friendly, supportive and dedicated team and excellent facilities. The pupils are very happy and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective cover for teachers during their Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.
Deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across various subjects and age groups.
Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Foster a love of learning through creative and innovative teaching methods.
Manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful and positive atmosphere.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall development of students

Requirements:

A patient, understanding, and empathetic approach, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and the school environment.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, following the school's policies and procedures.
