Are you a skilled Site Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the water sector? Our client, a brand-new joint venture between leading engineering contractors, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee projects within the Southern Water framework. This is a unique chance to be part of a dynamic team at the forefront of water infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing on-site operations for water infrastructure projects within the Southern Water region, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Leading site teams, including subcontractors and trades, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Overseeing the day-to-day site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
Implementing and maintaining site safety protocols, fostering a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Managing site documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Resolving on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the water or construction industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate on-site teams.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
