Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support an Early Years Foundation Stage pupil. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing individualised assistance to a non-verbal pupil who requires additional support in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to an EYFS student with special educational needs.
* Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Implement strategies and activities to support the student's individualised education plan.
* Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN children in a 1:1 capacity.
* Knowledge of and experience in implementing strategies for students with special educational needs.
* Desirable: Restraint trained with experience in intimate care.
* Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other members of the school team.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
Working Hours:
* Flexible but part-time, either mornings only or afternoons only
