They have built their reputation by being committed to delivering a personalised service and adapting their approach to suit each individual client. Due to the rate that they are growing, the company can offer unrivalled progression in comparison to the general market so would suit an ambitious individual with a desire to grow and climb the career ladder. Operating predominantly in the commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors, they deliver projects valued between £2m-£50m on average.
The Role
Reporting into the Estimating Director, you will be responsible for the compiling of tenders, working on up to 3 tenders at any one time. The ability to recognise and understand the logistics and associated issues in build-ability, as well as identifying opportunities to offer value-engineering solutions is critical in the projects that you will be tendering in this role.
Key duties will include, but not limited to;
* Assessment of tender enquiries and identifying potential supply chain
* Compiling and issuing subcontract and supplier enquiries
* Assessment and aligning of subcontract quotations
* Calculation of nett tender cost
* Pricing of contract preliminaries
* Compiling Contractor’s Proposals / Tender Deliverables documents
* Timely submission of tender returns
