Full-time - £116-£120 per day - September 2024

Tradewind are recruiting for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Medway to start immediately. This will be on a full-time basis and will be on a temp-to-perm basis. Interviews will also commence ASAP.

This is a multi-form entry Primary school that has been observed to be Good by Ofsted. The school is part of a larger multi-academy trust and has family and community at the heart of its ethos. Their core values of Achieve, Respect, Include, Support, and Enjoy are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

PPA cover, teaching classes.
Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

Experience as a HLTA, or Primary Teaching experience
Experience teaching/covering the UK Primary Curriculum KS2 would be highly desirable but not essential.
Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
Have right to work in the UK
