Early Years Teaching Assistant | Westminster, W9 | £95-£105 | Long term-Perm | ASAP Start

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team and support four children aged 3-4 years old with diverse learning needs, particularly focusing on speech and language development.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of EHCP's for each child, tailored to their specific needs and abilities.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to facilitate speech and language development, using specialised techniques and resources.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction, communication, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other support staff to ensure consistency and coherence in learning experiences.
Monitor and record progress, documenting observations and achievements.Requirements:

Previous experience working with young children, particularly those with special educational needs, is desirable.
A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Understanding of early childhood development and familiarity with strategies for supporting speech and language acquisition.
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools would be advantageous.If you are enthusiastic, empathetic, and committed to promoting the holistic development of young learners, we would love to hear from you.
